A full day seminar on Security and AI held at Linköping University.

SWECA is on the vanguard in Fostering International Collaboration regarding AI and Cybersecurity. This post is a summary with insights from the Security and Artificial Intelligence Seminar held at Linköping University on the 31st January 2024.

Recently, the Swedish-Central American Chamber of Commerce (SWECA), in collaboration with Linköping University and the County Administrative Board of Östergötland, orchestrated a full-day seminar in the vibrant city of Linköping. Post-lunch sessions saw a dynamic array of presentations from prominent IT companies like CloudBackEnd, XIOS3, Maxar, and Lutra Interactive. These sessions delved into the practical aspects of implementing AI solutions at both national and corporate levels, covering themes such as digital national sovereignty, secure application technology, and leveraging high-resolution satellite data for analysis.


Exploring Cutting-Edge Technology

An enriching highlight of the seminar was the visit to Linköping University's Quantum Laboratory, a hub of innovation where advanced Quantum Computers are developed and utilized. The Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology showcased groundbreaking research projects, including data transmission through fiber laser cables, exemplifying the university's commitment to pushing the boundaries of technological advancement.


Facilitating International Cooperation

As the day drew to a close, Linköping University underscored the importance of fostering international cooperation in advancing AI and security initiatives.
